Ikkokko is a cake derived from the Chinese kong xin bing, in which a hollow center is created by wrapping bean paste with a dough and baking it. It is thought that the ikkokko made in Nagasaki were introduced to Ureshino, but while they look very similar the Ureshino product is larger and softer.
